You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesLeverage data science techniques to design scalable pipelines, analyze complex datasets, and drive data-driven decisions. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research by applying computational tools, machine learning, and statistical analysis to experimental data. Data Pipeline and Workflow DevelopmentDesign and implement robust, automated workflows for processing and analyzing diverse data types.Optimize data pipelines to improve efficiency, scalability, and reproducibility.Leverage high-performance computing (HPC) or cloud resources to handle large datasets and complex analyses.Data Analysis and ModelingClean, structure, and prepare data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency.Apply advanced statistical techniques and machine learning models to identify patterns and extract insights.Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and refine predictive models tailored to research goals. Feature Engineering and InnovationDevelop novel approaches for feature extraction, combining domain expertise with computational methods.Engineer actionable features from raw data to enhance the performance of predictive models.Implement custom algorithms to address unique research challenges. Visualization and CommunicationCreate clear and impactful visualizations to present findings and guide decision-making.Communicate results through reports, presentations, and discussions with cross-functional teams.Document workflows and methodologies to ensure knowledge transfer and reproducibility. Minimum Qualifications of Data Scientist Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science related field and 2+ years of relevant experience. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered.
