This role involves working closely with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams through the full SDLC process to ensure that new applications are successfully deployed, meet business requirements, and are integrated with existing systems. The role also includes aspects of product ownership, including managing application backlogs, prioritizing enhancements, and ensuring that new features deliver business value. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Project Ownership:Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of application development and implementation projects.Ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.Adopt agile methodology, apply its principles, and train usersIdentify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive)Assist in tracking progress of deliverables and communicatingBuild and maintain strong relationships with business and IT users, both, onshore and offshoreEnsure application development efforts are prioritized based on business value, user needs, and alignment with product goalsBusiness Analysis / Stakeholder Engagement:Work with business units to gather and document requirements.Act as the primary point of contact between the IT department, vendors, and business users, ensuring alignment between technical delivery and business needs.Work with business users, technology team, and external clients/vendors to identify and understand business needs related to application UI, integration, reporting and bug fix needsElicit, analyze and validate requirements, understand dependencies and perform gap analysisDocument requirements and specifications, and provide to all stakeholders for approvalCoordinate closely with developers to ensure requirements are communicated, implemented, and aligned with the broader product vision.Work closely with business users to verify business requirements are met and assist them with testingMaintain a prioritized backlog of features and enhancements, incorporating input from users, stakeholders, and internal teams.Vendor Management:Coordinate with third-party vendors for software design, delivery, customization, and support.Team Coordination:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to ensure seamless integration and operation of new applications.Quality Assurance:Oversee and partake in the testing processes to ensure that applications function as intended.Identify and resolve issues during the implementation process.Training and Support:Develop and deliver training programs for end-users.Provide ongoing support post-implementation to ensure user adoption and satisfaction.Risk Management:Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.Reporting:Generate reports on implementation progress, budget status, and key performance indicators.Present findings to senior management. Qualifications Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.10+ years of experience in IT project management, business analysis, software implementation, or a related role.Experience within the healthcare/healthcare technology industry preferred, not requiredProficiency in project management software (., Monday, Jira, Azure DevOps, Experience creating application UI mockups/designs preferredUnderstanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) in an Agile methodologyExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
