HireLevel is looking for a Quality Inspector in Fenton, MO.Clean, well-lit, state-of-the-art machining center in a climate-controlled facility Job Category: Temporary (30-90 days)Location: Fenton, MOCompensation: $20-$22/hourShift: M-F 7am-3:30pmResponsibilities of the Quality Inspector:Perform first articles, in-process, roaming, and final inspection on precision machined products using a wide variety of inspection tools – This will comprise 90% or more of the personnel’s time with remaining time being spent on other non-specific functions that are deemed necessary in the Quality Department. Requirements of a the Quality Inspector:Able to read and interpret printsFamiliar with standard measurement tools: micrometers, calipers, comparators, thread plugs, and plug gagesMust be detail oriented in documentation as well as with measuring techniquesMust have high visual acuityMust be able to perform job functions given distractionsDriven to be efficientDedication to performing the jobs in a high paced environmentSelf-motivated; able to work with minimal supervisionAbility to read and understand standard operating procedures, specifications, and formsHighly trainableStrong attendance recordPREFERRED:Experienced with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook)Have a background in a machining environment (Quality and/or Production)Ways to
