Job Description Summary Wentworth Institute for Technology has an IMMEDIATE NEED and seeks a part-time head women’s lacrosse coach. The ideal candidate is responsible for the organization, management, and leadership of all aspects of the NCAA Division III women’s lacrosse program. Responsibilities include: developing and executing strategies that identify, recruit and matriculate qualified student-athletes. managing the academic, athletic, and personal development of student athletes. building a positive, inclusive, and equitable environment that enriches the student athlete experience organizing and facilitating practice and game preparation to enhance the team’s performance hiring, supervising and developing assistant coaching staff coordinating team travel, managing game scheduling, and working in concert with Alumni Affairs on alumni relations. The successful candidate will: be fiscally responsible and able to manage and maintain an operational budget that includes team fundraising to help supplement operations; recommend and assist in purchasing equipment; and assist in annual operating budget request for the women’s lacrosse program know and comply with all University, NCAA, conference and department policy and protocols possess strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with athletic department coaches and staff, as well as internal and external constituents. This is a part-time position. The position requires flexible hours, nights, and weekends. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license.
