Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Springtime School (Full-Time) At Potential Inc.'s Springtime School, our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) play a vital role in helping learners on the Autism spectrum develop meaningful skills, reduce barriers to learning, and thrive in an educational environment. BCBAs at our school oversee individualized behavior interventions, guide Registered Behavior Technicians, and collaborate with teachers to support effective skill acquisition programs.This role is designed to provide exceptional work/life balance, professional growth, and a supportive community-allowing you to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career.What You'll DoDevelop and oversee individualized behavior interventions for school-aged learners • Conduct assessments, including functional analyses, to inform treatment • Write comprehensive, effective Positive Behavior Support Plans • Complete all behavior-related sections of each student's IEP • Design, manage, and interpret data collection systems to monitor progress • Report on student outcomes at least quarterly • Participate in quarterly home visits to provide parent training • Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians and provide BACB-required supervision • Support teachers and allied health staff with behavior strategies and skill acquisition • Assist in designing and delivering in-service training • Conduct research to support teaching plan alternatives when needed • Collaborate across disciplines using evidence-based and scientific methodsWho You AreEmpathetic, supportive, and committed to helping students succeed • Skilled in interpersonal communication, especially when gathering information from students and communicating with staff • Capable of working under general supervision while independently managing responsibilities • Effective at multitasking, organizing, and managing time • Able to build professional, trusting relationships with students • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and observational skills • Knowledgeable about Autism Spectrum Disorder and student learning environments • Proactive and able to take initiative without immediate direction • Resilient, self-confident, and persistent in working toward long-term goals • Ethical, dependable, and trustworthy in all aspects of your work • Comfortable using software such as CentralReach and SharePointQualificationsMaster's degree or PhD in Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required (must be maintained) • Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist License (LBS) preferred • Strong working knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and current issues in special education • Experience using assessment tools such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Essentials for Living, or similar systems • Supervisory or management experienceWhat We Offer40-hour work week with flexible hours • Opportunities to complete some work from home outside the school day (school hours: 8:30 AM–3:00 PM) • Only 210 workdays per year • Small caseloads of 8–10 students, supported by a tiered behavior system • Robust professional development, including: – Daily supervision from an experienced BCBA with over 10 years in the field – Collaboration with industry leaders, including Greg Hanley, Ph.D. – Opportunities to attend and present at regional and national conferences – Collaboration within and across disciplines – Annual performance evaluations and salary growth – Clear opportunities for advancement • Comprehensive benefits package: – Salaried pay-consistent income – Paid time off and holidays – Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision plans – Supplementary insurance plans including life insurance, short- and long-term disability, AFLAC, and pet insurance – Support with continuing education, including tuition discounts and potential eligibility for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program – Mental health support via our employee assistance program and medical plan – 403(b) retirement plan – ZayZoon early wage access & FinFit financial wellness toolsOur MissionPotential Inc. is a nonprofit Autism service organization driven by the belief that every individual with Autism has the potential to live a fulfilling, meaningful life.
