As a leader in acute care and behavioral health, UHS provides high-quality care to over 3 million patients annually, across our national network of facilities.The UHS Corportate Accounting Department is hiring an Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, compliance with corporate policies, and effective management of accounting processes. Key Responsibilities include:Lead monthly inter-company processes, ensure all entries are posted, and manage financial closing for multiple entities including preparation of financial packages and journal entriesCoordinate annual and departmental budgets for UHT and corporate entities, including review and posting of entriesAnalyze project invoices for fixed assets, maintain master listings, and upload fixed assets into systems monthlyPerform reconciliations for AP, payroll, interest schedules, and prepare related financial schedules for quarterly and annual reportingPrepare quarterly insurance reporting (IBNR) and assist with annual budget processesManage UHT property manager entries, journal entries, trial balances, and related reconciliations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.CPA designation preferredStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standardsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills requiredThis opportunity provides a rewarding career, challenging and rewarding work environment as well as growth and development opportunities within UHS and its subsidiaries, including competitive compensation, excellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Plan, and 401k with company match.About Universal Health ServicesOne of the nation’s largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, Universal Health Services, Inc.
