ServiceNow Developer, SeniorFull Time, Remote  Overview:We are looking for a talented Sr. ServiceNow developer to deliver world-class ServiceNow applications for our federal clients. As a Sr. ServiceNow developer, you will be responsible for configuring ServiceNow components and developing customized solutions within the ServiceNow platform. You will also analyze requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes, work in a cross-functional agile delivery team, support testing, deployment, and documentation activities, as well as troubleshoot/resolve errors. To ensure success as a Sr. ServiceNow developer, you should have extensive experience working with ServiceNow platforms, application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems. Ultimately, a top-class Sr. ServiceNow developer can create dynamic and scalable ServiceNow applications that meet the changing needs of the company. Sr. ServiceNow Developer ResponsibilitiesWorking as a technical lead for teams and projects (e.g., performing code reviews and giving direct feedback, owning branch strategy and pull requests, defining standards/processes, instilling coding best practices and security, driving DevSecOps practices, authoring custom frameworks, coaching other developers and team members, providing performance reviews, working closely with other project leadership, etc.)Working on a cross-functional agile delivery team to analyze and deliver user stories, features, and enhancementsDeveloping customized solutions within the ServiceNow platformDesigning, coding, and implementing ServiceNow applicationsWriting unit tests and performing due diligence to meet acceptance criteriaCreating timelines and development goalsTesting the stability and functionality of the applicationTroubleshooting and fixing bugsWriting documents and providing technical trainingMaintaining the security and integrity of the application softwareProvide guidance on decommissioning or removal of legacy development platforms.Minimum Skills and Qualification RequiredBA/BS Degree in related fieldServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)3+ years experience in low-code/no-code platforms such as Appian, Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.; Direct ServiceNow configuration experience desired5+ years experience in development on RDBMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL, MySQL, MariaDB)5+ years experience data modeling to include creating and modifying standard and custom objects, writing Stored Procedures, optimizing queries and views, and performing ETL5+ years experience in development using web technologies (e.g. JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, etc.)5+ years experience in JSON, XML, SOAP, REST and working knowledge of application programming interfaces (APIs) to support low-code/no-code platforms5+ years experience in working on agile delivery teams (e.g. with POs, testers, architects) as well as performing testing, debugging, root cause analysis, and authoring technical artifacts / documents / deliverables3+ years experience deploying ServiceNow applications Preferred Skills and QualificationsExperience working with the Federal Government, preferably the Department of Veterans Affairs5+ years experience as a Developer using object-oriented programing languages (e.g. Java, C#, C++) and minimum 3+ years of experience directly with Java5+ years experience using Git with branching / merging, code reviews, and pull requests2+ years experience using AWS tools  About Semper Valens Solutions:Semper Valens Solutions, Inc.
