Function may be called upon to obtain a forklift license. Additional duties may include the shipment of empty container back to supplier and expediting hardware between locations in the factory. Critical role in ensuring hardware is moved timely and accurately.This position is for a Material Handler on 2nd Shift Monday – Friday 2:00pm to 10:30pm, within the APEX Center in McKinney, TX. Occasional weekend work may be required.What You Will DoResponsible for the movement of hardware from assigned work cells to the next process point in a timely manner, and verifying it is logged to the corresponding step. Ensure Shop Orders are closed with "zero" open notification in CMES, IMRO or VM.Verify documentation accuracy (Hardware matches shop order)Monitor kitting racks and drop zones for hardware needing to be routed to assigned work cell, this includes but is not limited to shortages filled, kits, etc.Move parts dispositioned for RTV/SCRAP to SMA/pack-ship or other applicable areas.Responsible for line flow auditsResponsible for performing WIP audits to verify material aged at an operation is physically located in the corresponding areaSupport the tracking of materials (transacted in PRISM by others) via PRISM and RaytrakSupport the submission of SOS tickets to expedite items, initiate return to stock requests, and to request discrepancy investigationsResponsible for logistics activities which may include: de-trashing, creating and maintaining organized totes for kits for the manufacturing floor, validating kit itemsQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experienceExperience in manufacturing processes and environmentsExperience working with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.Qualifications We PreferExperience with moving pallet jacksExperience working in SAPExperience working with inventory management systemsAbility to accomplish daily work tasks with a minimum amount of supervision and takes on challenges with minimal direction, with the ability to be proactiveExperienced and effective communicator (presentation skills, written and verbal communication)What we offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
