Position Summary The University of Central Arkansas is seeking student-workers for the Athletic Ticket Office that are Federal Work Study Eligible. The position is for the fall and spring semesters.The Ticket Operations student-workers will work with the Athletic Ticket Manager to ensure ticketing operations for each ticketed sport are accomplished (Football, Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Baseball and Softball). This position is designed to expose the individual to all aspects of an NCAA ticket office and is a great opportunity for those looking to begin a career in athletics. Job Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities: Assist the Ticket Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Ticket Office.Duties include, but are not limited to:● Students can work up to 10-20 hours per week in the box office.(depending on class schedule and federal eligibility)● Assist with ticket related operations for ticketed sports. (Includes: will call, pass lists, single-game sales, season ticket sales, answer/make phone calls, learn to operate the UCA Athletics Ticket Software: AudienceView)● Concentrate on multiple tasks in a fast paced environment● Make sales calls to new and current UCA Athletics fans● Arrive to work on time & when scheduled● Provide excellent customer service● Attend Ticket staff team meetings● Properly communicate with fans, ticket staff and Ticket Manager● Work well in team environment
