Position Summary Arkansas Coding Academy seeks a self-motivated, well-organized student employee who possesses superior verbal and written communication skills and demonstrates professionalism. The qualified candidate will have a passion for technology, customer service, and student success. Job Duties and Responsibilities MINIMUM QUALIFICATION Student worker must be a Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student studying Computer Science or Information Systems. DESIRED SKILLS Comfortable engaging with students and corporate partners Good research and analytical skills Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Google Suite Critical thinking Problem-solving Leadership, professionalism, work ethic, teamwork Copywriting, editing, and/or programming skills and experience are a plus JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with ArCA faculty, staff, and industry partners to meet Academy needs The student will work up to 20 hours per pay period. The student must manage their workload and ensure they do not work over these hours. Student Time must be submitted by the 1st and the 15th of each month. We are not able to allow time to be logged outside of a pay period it was performed. Assisting with events held in Conway is required. Most events are held after hours and on weekends. Student workers may be invited but are not required to attend events held outside of Conway. Work independently and efficiently on projects assigned by ArCA staff Prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines with successful completion of work Ability to work inclusively in a diverse setting Maintain confidentiality, be punctual, and communicate changes in work schedule in advance Other duties as assigned
