At Live Nation Entertainment, our people embrace these qualities, so if this sounds like you then please read on The Role:Performing food and drink serving duties at dinners and special events while interacting with guests in a positive, friendly and efficient manner.Responsibilities:Set up for events by putting out tablecloths and place settings, arranging table placement and setting up a buffetCarrying plates of food on trays and serving guestsKeep glasses filled; remove each round of plates and replenish utensilsPerform cleaning tasks and breakdown of serviceAnticipate and respond to guest needsRespond to guest concerns/complaints regarding food or service and correct errors or resolve complaints with a friendly, positive attitudePerform opening/running/closing duties per HOB policyMaintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area throughout shiftClean spills on tables or around work areaMaintain HOB safety and sanitation standardsAssist other servers or other employees as neededQualifications:CA Food Handlers Card2-5 years high volume experience in restaurant operationsWorking knowledge of high volume restaurant operations and safe, responsible alcohol serviceStandard food preparation/presentationSkill in guest relationsWine & Liquor knowledgeAbility to handle multiple tables at one time efficiently and with an upbeat, friendly attitude; read guests in order to anticipate their needsHigh School DiplomaPoint of Sales knowledge, preferably MICROSPhysical Demands/Working Environment:Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressfulPosition requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feetMust be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniquesApplicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa.
