POSITION SUMMARY:Established forward thinking Engineering firm located in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking an engineer with 5+ years of relevant experience in HVAC/mechanical system design as well as plumbing and fire protection systems design for educational, commercial and industrial facilities to expand its Cherry Hill, NJ office.PRIMARY DUTIES:Design of HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and education facilitiesHydronic system (chilled and hot water) piping design as well as ductwork and mechanical equipment sizing is also required.Understands construction plan documentation including architectural, structural and MEP systemsKnowledge of HVAC, Fire Protection, and PlumbingPreparation of construction documents including drawings, specifications, calculations, and detailsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrate the ability to take projects from inception to completionDetail OrientedSkilled in design and calculation software, AutoCAD competency a plusAbility to work independently with general instructions / guidance from project manager and produce the expected results.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:BS in Mechanical engineering or equivalent degree/experience requiredCERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES REQUIREDProfessional Engineering licensure preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in the field and may be exposed to outside weather conditions. This range represents a good faith estimate and is based on factors such as the role, level, and geographic location. The range shown reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for this position across all U.S. locations.Within this range, individual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, education, and training.In addition to base salary, Remington & Vernick Engineers offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
