Heavy Equipment Field Service Mechanic (CDL A or B)Location: Savannah, GASalary: $33 + per hour- commensurate with experience Great hours and NO weekends Plus- competitive bonus plan, great benefits, and boot reimbursement.About the Role:We’re hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Service Mechanic (CDL A or B) to join our Savannah team. In this role, you’ll hit the road daily to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel-powered heavy equipment including skid steers, excavators, and loaders. This position is ideal for a skilled mechanic who enjoys independence, has a strong customer-service mindset, and is looking for a career with both mobility and higher earning potential. With your CDL license, you’ll have the flexibility to transport equipment when needed and deliver reliable service directly to our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform on-site service, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy and compact equipmentManage road calls independently, ensuring timely and efficient serviceHandle client-facing interactions with professionalism and strong communicationOccasionally assist in the shop when road calls are limitedRequired Qualifications:1+ years’ experience in a similar road technician roleCDL Class A or B license requiredMust have heavy equipment such as Bobcat, Caterpillar, John Deere, Case, or similar-sized equipment. 1+ years’ heavy/compact equipment service experience (skid steers, excavators, etc.)Ability to work independently and manage jobs soloStrong customer-facing and time management skillsBilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus, but not requiredWhy Join Us?This is a growth opening designed for technicians who want more independence and higher earning potential.
