Mercer Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician with a specialized focus on European cars to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience working with European car models, including but not limited to Land Rover, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and Volkswagen.Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic tests on European car models to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and engine components using diagnostic tools and equipment.Communicate findings and recommended repairs to the Service Advisor.Complete repairs and services in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and quality standards.Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and time spent on each repair job.Stay current on industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices for servicing European cars.SkillsProficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment specific to European car models.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications:Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferredAutomotive Technical training or a Trade School degree is strongly preferredWhy work with Mercer Automotive:Monday to Friday work scheduleMajor Holidays offMonthly Tool AllowanceMonthly Fuel AllowanceTraining and Advancement OpportunitiesEmployee DiscountsFlexible ScheduleJob Posted by ApplicantPro
