Provide music therapy services in an elementary school setting, supporting students in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This full-time contract position is based in Cypress, TX, within the South and West Divisions of the school district, and runs through June 4, 2026.Key Responsibilities:Deliver individual and group music therapy interventions tailored to student needs.Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate therapy goals.Track and document student progress regularly.Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student development.Provide training and resources to staff regarding music therapy techniques.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelors degree in Music Therapy.Active Music TherapistBoard Certified (MT-BC) credential.Prior experience working in school-based settings preferred.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Commitment to student-centered therapeutic approaches.Ability to manage documentation and progress reports efficiently.Location:Elementary school based in Cypress, TX.Service area includes South and West divisions.Benefits & Perks:Full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week).Opportunity to impact student growth through creative therapeutic interventions.Collaborative work environment with educational and therapeutic professionals.Contract role with defined duration through June 2026.Candidates should be comfortable commuting to South and West Division locations and able to complete required fingerprinting and drug screening promptly.
