The Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Whitehall region seeking Controllers. Key Responsibilities Oversee all financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, and variance analysis. Direct cost accounting activities, including standard costing, inventory valuation, and production cost analysis. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize manufacturing operations. Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions. Coordinate and manage external audits, serving as the primary liaison. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification highly preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with significant time in a manufacturing environment. Deep expertise in cost accounting, standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation for manufacturing operations. Proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills. Proven ability to manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and provide insightful financial analysis. Bonus Qualifications Experience with ERP system implementation, migration, or significant optimization within a manufacturing environment. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies. Proficiency with advanced data visualization and Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Prior experience in a multi-site or international manufacturing context.
