As a Business Development Clinical Liaison (RN/LPN/PT/OT/SLP) you will:• Establishes and fosters strong collaboration with ongoing and potential referral sources; partners with external case managers to provide seamless transition to Post-Acute Services• Screening of potential patients through electronic medical record review or telephonic, in collaboration with physicians, social workers, and case managers• Understands rehabilitation, home care, and other post-acute diagnoses and clinical indicators to make appropriate decisions for admission; maintains working knowledge of insurance authorization and benefit requirements.• Determination of patient’s medical stability and readiness for program participation• Expedites flow of admissions through collaboration with the Patient Access Clinical Coordinator, physicians, pharmacy and nursing• Identifies appropriate attending physician for home care patients and obtains physician orders• Follows re-hospitalized patients for safe resumption of care• Contributes to the coordination of safe transition to appropriate post-acute settingQualifications include:• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Physical Therapy, or Occupational Therapy or related area required• 3-5 years clinical experience in hospital or post-acute setting. • Preferred experience as a Clinical Liaison or Case Manager• Current license (RN/LPN/PT/OT/SLP)• Looking for an energetic, skilled clinician (RN, LPN, PT, OT, SLP) to help grow our Acute Rehab Service Line• Prior business development, sales, liaison experience strongly preferred• Strong communication skills• Prior experience working in acute care and inpatient rehab preferredWork Schedule:Full time position; weekends and holidays as needed.Hybrid position- requires both on-site presence at local hospitals as well as on-site presence in office as neededPay Range:$60,486.56 - $107,889.60If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as:United States of America (Exempt)At Adventist HealthCare our job is to care for you.We do this by offering:Work life balance through nonrotating shiftsRecognition and rewards for professional expertiseFree Employee parkingMedical, Prescription, Dental, and Vision coverage for employees and their eligible dependents effective on your date of hireEmployer-paid Short & Long-Term Disability, Basic Life Insurance and AD&D, (short-term disability buy-up available)Paid Time OffEmployer retirement contribution and match after 1-year of eligible employment with a 3-year vesting period Voluntary benefits include flexible spending accounts, legal plans, and life, pet, auto, home, long term care, and critical illness & accident insuranceSubsidized childcare at participating childcare centersTuition ReimbursementEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) supportAs a faith-based organization, with over a century of caring for the communities in the Maryland area, Adventist HealthCare has earned a reputation for high-quality, compassionate care.
