We only hire those who are at the top of their game and specialize in the details Guests tell us that they love to visit our property, as a place to connect, celebrate and be inspired Our teams deliver magic, day in and day out.Come be a part of history at this Nebraska Landmark Part of Milwaukee based Marcus Hotels & Resorts, the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel in downtown Lincoln has been serving Nebraska's capital city for nearly 90 years and has evolved as the benchmark for hospitality.What will you be doing?· Provide Human Resources leadership for a full-service hotel environment· Partner with the General Manager and executive leadership team as a trusted advisor on people strategy and organizational effectiveness· Lead employee relations, associate engagement, recognition programs, and workplace culture initiatives· Ensure compliance with employment laws, brand standards, and company policies within a hotel setting· Oversee performance management, discipline, and review processes to ensure consistency and fairness· Guide and support the Human Resources team in execution of staffing, training, and associate programs· Champion a positive, service-driven culture aligned with hospitality and brand values· Oversee management development, leadership training, and onboarding frameworks for hotel leadership· Serve as the primary point of accountability for EEOC matters, risk management, and corporate HR reporting· Maintain alignment with Corporate Human Resources on policies, reporting, and compliance requirements· Represent the hotel in community workforce, hospitality, and employment partnership initiatives· Perform other duties as assignedWhat you will bring to the role?· Associate Degree in related field – Four Year Degree preferred· Computer and typing experience· Prior experience in Human Resources, Hospitality or Customer Service fields (3-5 years)· Accuracy with numbers, budgeting experience administration· Ability to work independently with high level of confidence· High degree of organization and motivation· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Basic knowledge of employment related issues What is in it for you?· Medical, dental, vision and life insurance offered for full time associates following initial waiting period· 401K for eligible associates following 90 days of employment· Paid vacation time for eligible associates· Free employee parking on site· Free meal during each shift worked· Discounts at Marcus Hotels & Resort locations & Marriott worldwide locations· Free/discounted movie tickets at Marcus Theater locations· Marriott Brand training and development· Ability to transfer and promote within Marcus Hotels & Resorts About Marcus Hotels & ResortsA division of The Marcus Corporation, Marcus Hotels & Resorts has a rich 60-year history of operational and service excellence.
