Jr. Website Planning SpecialistAbout the RoleWebFX is seeking an entry-level candidate for the Jr. Website Planning Specialist role. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree (or will soon have one), a history of strong academic performance, and is interested in a career involving project management, client consulting, and web technology. Related skills and experience are encouraged, but never required - comprehensive training is providedThe Job Responsibilities: Your Day-to-DayPlan and Manage Website Design Projects(About 45% of your day)-Create and outline specifications for website build projects, integrating UX best practices-Organize and manage project timelines, and communicate schedules to internal team members-Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with client goals-Troubleshoot issues as they arise, using clear communication and creative problem-solving-Manage multiple projects and deadlines using strong organization and time management skillsCommunicate With Clients(About 35% of your day)-Serve as the direct point of contact for clients, asking strategic questions to understand their goals and needs, and recommending best practices accordingly-Contribute to our high client satisfaction rate by providing proactive support and building relationships based on trust and rapportTest and Evaluate Website Performance(About 20% of your day)-Perform quality assurance testing during website builds and launches-Evaluate website performance, functionality, and user experience to ensure standards are metThe Qualifications: Who You AreEducation:-A Bachelor's Degree: All majors welcome-GPA: 3.4 or above(Upcoming grads are encouraged to apply - we interview and hire up to a year in advance)Suggested Experience and Skills:-Prior part-time/summer job/internship experience (can be in any field)-Strong verbal and written communication skills-Customer service experience (in any industry)-Presentation skills-Digital marketing experience (a bonus)-Project management experience (a bonus)Tools/Technical Skills:(Not required, but awesome to have)-Excel/Google Suite-Basic HTML/CSS or UX experienceQualities and Traits:-You have a great eye for aesthetically pleasing websites-You're organized, timely, and able to juggle multiple projects at once-You're interested in the web, and like keeping up with new technology-You're professional, dependable, and self-motivated-You take pride in your work and always strive for high-quality results-You work with urgency and enjoy getting things done-You're proactive when it comes to solving problems-You're a lifelong learner, and are always looking to stretch and grow your skills-You love thinking both creatively and analytically, and love using data to make decisionsDon't stress if you don't have every experience listed - we hire for soft skills, and believe hard skills can be trained.
