What You Will Do:
As an Entry-Level Environmental Engineer, you will work closely under the direction of a licensed engineer to gain extensive hands-on field experience. You will assist in preparing Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments and scoping of Phase 2 Site Assessments, as well as conducting delineation and remediation of various contaminants in soil, groundwater, and soil gas on commercial and industrial project sites.
Conduct field investigations, including drilling of soil borings, installation of monitor wells, and identification of encountered soils. Perform groundwater and soil gas sampling for chemical analysis and other required environmental testing. Engage with management, contractors, and clients to ensure project transparency and provide regular progress updates. Prepare data tables, graphical presentations of data, and compare soil and groundwater data to State regulatory standards. Assist in drafting reports and proposals for small projects, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in assessments and documentation.Who You Are:
You have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related field. You have 0-2 years of experience working on or coursework related to environmental/engineering in areas such as environmental assessment methods, due diligence processes, regulatory permitting, or environmental compliance. You have good business and technical writing skills. You have an Engineer in Training (EIT) license or are on track to obtain one.Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
You are willing and able to perform the physical demands of this position with the use of Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment such as:
Working outdoors the majority of the time in varying weather conditions. Walking over rough, uneven terrain and standing for potentially up to 12 hours a day. Routinely lifting and carrying 40-50lbs (field/laboratory samples and equipment). Maneuvering field equipment safely, such as a loaded wheelbarrow, on uneven ground around active construction sites.Who We Are:
