Job Overview

Montrose Environmental is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Engineer to lead our technical projects and teams. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering high-quality environmental engineering services to our clients.

About the Role

This position involves leading technical projects and teams, providing expert advice and guidance to clients and stakeholders, and developing and implementing new technologies and methodologies to improve our services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering, with experience in project management, team leadership, and client engagement. They will be highly communicative, with excellent written and verbal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Leading technical projects and teams to deliver high-quality environmental engineering services to clients

2. Providing expert advice and guidance to clients and stakeholders on environmental engineering issues and best practices

3. Developing and implementing new technologies and methodologies to improve our services and stay ahead of industry trends

4. Mentoring and supervising junior staff members to help them grow and develop their skills and expertise

5. Identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the growth and development of our organization

6. Communicating effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams through written and verbal reports, presentations, and meetings

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

1. A bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or a related field, with a master's degree or Ph.D. preferred

2. At least 5 years of experience in environmental engineering, with a focus on project management, team leadership, and client engagement

3. A strong understanding of environmental engineering principles, practices, and regulations, with knowledge of relevant laws and policies

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences

5. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results

6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex problems and challenges
