LUKE'S HOSPITAL in Duluth, MN is seeking a BIOMEDICAL SPECIALIST to join our BIOMED EQUIPMENT SERVICES team Salary Range: $27.67 - $40.12 Hourly Schedule/Hours: DAY ONLY, 8 hours Weekend Requirement: Generally No Weekends FTE: FULL TIME, 1.000000 FTEOff Premise On-Call: No JOB SUMMARYPerforms safe and proper installation, maintenance, safety testing and repair with focus on sophisticated and highly technical critical and/or complex clinical and non-clinical equipment typically covering select equipment in laboratory, radiology, respiratory, surgery, cardiac and ICU, etc. Provides technical support to safety committee, in-service training to Hospital staff on use and operation of equipment and trains other bio-med staff on preventive maintenance and repair of equipment.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Graduate of a Biomedical Electronic Technician program, military Biomedical Technician program or Electronic Tech program.Experience: Over three (3) years related work experience with increasingly complex biomedical equipment.
