Duties Description As a Program Research Specialist 1, you will research and evaluate government programs and program areas including policy, procedures, legislation, objective, and cost effectiveness to determine actual or potential risk. You will research, identify, and evaluate data sources to determine reliability or usability limitations and collect, manipulate, analyze, and interpret data, and present results to supervision, covering conclusions and recommendations based on the evaluations made. Salary is nonnegotiable. Candidates hired at the trainee level will be advanced to the full performance Program Research Specialist 1 SG-18 following successful completion of the traineeship.
