Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer.Responsibilities Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced and technically driven Sr. Technology Specialist to lead the architecture, deployment, and daily management of our fleet of end-user devices. The successful candidate will have 7+ years of experience and hands-on expertise in Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), enterprise security tools (Tanium), and cross-platform (Windows/Mac) mobility solutions. The ideal candidate is driven to continuously learn, explore new technologies, and optimize system performance at scale.Key ResponsibilitiesEndpoint Management & Deployment (Tanium/Workspace ONE):Own the deployment and patching process across the enterprise using Tanium for rapid visibility, security compliance, and software distribution.Manage, maintain, and optimize the VMware Workspace ONE environment, ensuring secure access and lifecycle management for all corporate and BYOD mobile devices.OS & Mobility Expertise:Act as the subject matter expert for Windows OS and MAC OS deployment, imaging, security baselines, and Tier 3 troubleshooting escalations.Drive the implementation of modern, friction-free Mobility solutions and device access strategies.Security, Governance & Compliance:Design and implement enterprise security policies directly enforced via UEM tools, ensuring all endpoints (laptops and mobile devices) meet regulatory and internal security standards.Develop governance standards and documentation for all endpoint lifecycle processes, from provisioning to decommissioning.Strategic Planning & Innovation:Critically evaluate existing processes and propose innovative, "outside-the-box" solutions to enhance user experience, reduce operational overhead, and improve security posture.Define future state roadmaps for endpoint technologies, integrating new platforms and features to stay ahead of industry trends.Qualifications7+ years of progressive experience in endpoint management, systems engineering, or desktop support within a large enterprise environment.Proven hands-on expertise with at least one major endpoint security/deployment platform (Tanium highly preferred).Deep administrative experience with a major Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) solution (VMware Workspace ONE required).Expert-level knowledge of Windows OS and MAC OS deployment methodologies and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Shell).Demonstrated ability to manage Mobility solutions and implement zero-trust access for mobile devices.Critical thinking ability and a strong drive to learn, grow professionally, and continually research emerging technologies.Relevant certifications (e.g., VCP-DW, Microsoft Certifications, Tanium Certified Engineer) are a significant plus.Requirements Education:High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.Additional Preferences No additional preferences. #ascensiontechnologies #LI-remote
