UX Designer

Quardev is seeking a UX Designer for a full-time, % remote, 12+ month contract role to support our client, a leader in educational technology. This is a creative role that relies on creativity, timeliness, skill, and aesthetic discernment to create engaging and relevant educational curriculum experiences for K-12 learners. The role of the UX Designer is to create a broad array of design assets for various digital products and services. As the UX Designer, this team will look to you to have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UX skills, and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. In this role, you will work as part of a creative and welcoming team, and collaborate with various Agile teams to define innovative solutions for the product direction, all while establishing and promoting design guidelines and best practices.Responsibilities:*Develop a wide range of design assets for digital products and services tailored to K-12 educational curriculum experiences.*Translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, transforming them into intuitive and functional user interfaces.*Work closely with various Agile teams to define innovative solutions for product direction.*Collaborate effectively within a creative and welcoming team environment.*Ensure designs adhere to best practices for user experience, creating clean and artful designs.*Conduct user research and apply findings to improve user interfaces and overall user experience.*Establish and promote design guidelines and best practices to maintain consistency and quality across all products.*Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and incorporate them into your work.*Address design challenges with creative and effective solutions.*Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into detailed, actionable insights.*Ensure all designs are accessible and inclusive, meeting relevant accessibility standards.*Manage and prioritize multiple design projects to meet deadlines.*Provide accurate reporting on project milestones and performance indicators, and take actionable steps to mitigate risks and improve products iteratively.Qualifications:*5+ years of work experience in product development, user experience design, product design, creative, or marketing industries.*5+ years of expertise with Figma.*5+ years of experience in responsive design.*Proficient in accessibility standards and best practices.*Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.*Strong problem-solving skills.*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.*Demonstrates a consistently kind and respectful nature, contributing to a positive and ego-free creative working environment.Join us at Quardev and be part of a welcoming and supportive team that values creativity and collaborationNote: This role is a % remote, long-term contract role.
