You will effectively communicate status and risks and plan, lead and coordinate pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. In addition, you will plan, lead and coordinate development activities ( product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation. etc.). To provide direction for product and process development, you will use digital simulation models to obtain, understand and interpret consumer insights and commercial information. In this role, you will support manufacturing line qualifications, new product launches, and be responsible for stakeholder management and influencing decisions based on conclusions made from analysis and interpretation of results.What you will bringA desire to drive your future and accelerate your career with the following experience and knowledge:R&D leader influencing cross-functional teams with experience in ingredients, nutrition, product formulations and technical knowledge in the snack food industry. Handling multiple priorities.Effectively influencing senior level and cross-functional stakeholders verbally and in writing, including writing technical report conclusions.Coaching and mentoring others.More about this role This Senior Scientist I, NA Ventures, R&D will be support all projects across the 7 days brand in the NA ventures group. The person will be responsible for product and process development activities for their projects.Qualifications: or in Food Science, Chemical Engineering or equivalent 5-7 years of experience in a Product Development or technical Research & Development role Consumer focused defining consumer desired experiences collaboratively with marketing and developing the strategic innovation pipeline. Being a constant champion for the consumer.Ability to lead projects in development and commercialization of new products with strong interpersonal and communication skills.Formula/product development expertise in Biscuit is preferred but not required.Understanding equipment design and manufacturing processes to support product and process specifications.Strong project management & collaboration working cross functionally with agility partnering with internal and external manufacturers executing with excellence and technical rigor.Strong problems skills and strategic agility.Can stand alone, handle complexity, influence and present effectively to senior stakeholders and Senior Leadership TeamExcellent written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization Up to 50% travel will be requiredSalary and Benefits:The base salary range for this position is $83,800 to $115,225; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location.
