If you're a detail-oriented assembler with a passion for building and problem-solving, this opportunity lets you grow in a challenging, supportive, and mission-driven setting.Responsibilities:Apply mechanical knowledge to complete both routine and complex assembly tasksUse power and hand tools to build and repair electro-mechanical componentsFollow moderate to complex drawings and work instructions for sub and high-level buildsPerform troubleshooting on electro-mechanical systems, collaborating with internal teams for root cause and corrective actionPerform soldering, crimping, wiring, and cable assembly according to standardsValidate product performance and quality using specialized test equipmentSupport a continuous improvement culture through Lean initiativesBuild 1st article assemblies to IPC standards and best practicesAchieve and maintain IPC certifications (J-STD-001 and 620)Assist in peer training and skill development for junior assemblersComplete additional tasks as assignedFrequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and manual workAbility to lift up to 35lbs unassisted and occasionally up to 100lbs with assistanceRegular use of hands and arms to manipulate tools and componentsVisual acuity for close work, color recognition, and depth perceptionMay work around electrical components, hazardous materials, and varying noise levelsWork is primarily performed in a climate-controlled environment, with occasional exposure to warehouse settingsQualifications:High school diploma or GED required2+ years of mechanical/electro-mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing settingAbility to read, interpret, and follow detailed technical drawings and work instructionsCompetence with hand tools and basic electronics assembly tools (e.g., torque wrenches, ESD systems)Strong troubleshooting and mechanical rework skillsReliable, punctual, and able to meet production and attendance expectationsITAR: Candidates must be U.S. Persons as defined in the ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20).SRG Government Services is a leading provider of information technology, training, engineering, accounting and intelligence analytical services for agencies in the intelligence, defense, homeland security, cyber security, and federal civilian markets.
