Beermann LLP is looking for a skilled Family Law Paralegal to join our team. This role requires someone who can confidently manage discovery, prepare pleadings, and organize financial records with accuracy and efficiency. Candidates must bring at least three (3) years of paralegal experience, including a minimum of one (1) year dedicated to Family Law. Our paralegals work closely with attorneys, clients, and court staff, so professionalism, clear communication, and strong organizational skills are essential.Compensation:$75,000 - $95,000 yearlyResponsibilities:Prepare and file basic pleadings (Petition for Dissolution of Marriage, Petition for Temporary Support, Motion to Compel). Draft detailed SCR 201(k) letters based on production index review. Organize, prepare, and finalize exhibits for trial. Analyze asset/liability documents (bank accounts, brokerage/retirement accounts, tax returns, credit card statements) to compile income summaries and balance sheets. Manage discovery from start to finish, including drafting and responding to requests and interrogatories. Utilize Family Law software to prepare financial affidavits and tax calculations. Qualifications:Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client interaction. Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail under deadlines. At least 3 years of paralegal experience, with 1+ year in Family Law required. Strong knowledge of discovery and trial preparation processes. Highly organized with strong time management abilities.
