SUMMARY We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Sr. Talent Acquisition Associate (Contract) to join the Talent Acquisition Team. This person will lead full life-cycle recruitment for our organization, from building talent pipelines and sourcing prospects to closing offers and onboarding new hires. This individual will report to the VP, Talent Acquisition and serve as a talent acquisition expert, responsible for managing processes and implementing strategies to attract and hire top talent through inclusive hiring practices. This is a 5-month contract to provide leave coverage within the Talent Acquisition team, with an anticipated start date in December 2025 / January 2026. WHAT YOU WILL DO Partner with HR and business leaders to identify current talent needs as well as forecast hiring plans. Lead full life cycle recruiting process for assigned open requisitions, including sourcing, interviewing, soliciting feedback, and coordinating offers. Build and execute elite recruiting practices while ensuring recruiting plans align with Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment’s overall talent management strategies. Mentor managers and leaders on effective practices for candidate engagement and evaluation to ensure a structured interview and selection process. Ensure an outstanding candidate experience at every step of the hiring process. Stay informed of emerging talent sourcing and diverse recruitment trends and proactively identify key opportunities to support talent initiatives. Harness and optimize existing technology (Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Teamwork Online) to automate and streamline the hiring process; keep track of candidate pipeline and provide relevant recruiting data to internal partners. Set goals & objectives, maintain and analyze hiring data, and measure recruiting performance to improve efficiency. Represent Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment at hiring events throughout the NYC Metro Area upon request. WHAT YOU WILL BRING Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience; experience within sports & entertainment is a plus. Proven success in managing high-volume and specialized recruitment. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, TeamWork Online). Deep understanding of employment laws and best practices. Passion for the industry and Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment’s goals and mission. A strong, effective communicator who can independently handle relationships with candidates and hiring managers and write engaging outreach emails to prospects. A creative thinker with proven ability to use unique recruiting methods to strengthen external employer brand and reach target audiences in the market. An effective time manager, comfortable working on multiple open roles at various stages.
