Trusted.SPA's Integrated Warfare Systems (IWS) Group comprises more than 100 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, product support, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects in the Navy’s Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Office of Naval Research (ONR), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the Navy’s Team Submarine Office.SPA’s IWS Group office is located at 20 M Street in Southeast DC, conveniently down the street from our clients at the Washington Navy Yard. #MCHybrid work is allowed but you must have the ability to work at least 2-3 days per week from our downtown Washington, DC office. Travel up to 5-10% may be required. #MC Responsibilities SPA is seeking a dedicated mid-level T&E Engineer with an active DoD Secret clearance to provide Modeling and Simulation (M&S) support to the US Navy's Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors Directorate (PEO IWS 2.0). You will provide technical and programmatic services and must have ability to understand and communicate effectively with technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across all levels of government and industry. You will be expected to coordinate the highest priority M&S activities for the Directorate. This includes a wide-range of M&S assets, including: digital system representations, virtual twins, system level and combat system digital test beds throughout the detect to engage sequence, Systems Engineering (SE) and Test & Evaluation (T&E) tools, target simulations/stimulators, digital and hardware threat representations, atmospheric representations, scene generators, and data visualizations. You will be expected to maintain the Directorate's M&S strategy / roadmap, maintain and track M&S resources and a PEO IWS 2.0 M&S catalog, and coordinate, facilitate, and document the Verification, Validation, and Accreditation of PEO IWS 2.0 M&S assets.At SPA, we strive to deliver a robust total compensation package that will attract and retain top talent.
