Job Description BAE Systems is seeking Systems Engineers to join tour team and provide support to facilitate operations on a critical infrastructure and services program. This effort focuses on providing a comprehensive set of System/ Software Engineering and IT Services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and improve/modernize. The ideal candidate will be located in the National Capital Region. Please note that this is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated decision expected by Q3/Q4 of 2026. The Systems Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Manages and guides the operations, maintenance, and sustenance of both hardware and software components within the environment.* Lead system interoperability testing, ensuring operational data compliance, and supporting the Government during system onboarding activities.* Work closely with stakeholders to document and maintain all necessary system support actions and licenses#001JC Required Education, Experience, & Skills * One of the following certifications: Certified Network Defender, SecurityX/ CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP, GDSA, GSEC, CISSO, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCIA, GCLD, GICSP.* Bachelors degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering and 13 years or more relevant experience; Masters and 9 years or more relevant work experience; PhD and 4 years or more relevant experience (will consider an additional 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree).* Extensive experience in leading system engineering efforts, developing complex systems, and managing engineering processes.* Proficiency in performing system analyses, conducting requirements gathering, and developing system documentation.* Strong understanding of model-based systems engineering (MBSE), cloud computing, and cybersecurity. Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
