2026 Summer Internship

What you ’ll doWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Analyst to join our Private Credit team. You will play a critical role in supporting the investment process, including deal sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, and portfolio management, and will work across both corporate and asset-based opportunities. Over the course of your internship, you will have opportunities to gain exposure to:Investment AnalysisConduct comprehensive financial analysis and modeling to evaluate potential investment opportunities.Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.Perform industry and market research to support investment theses.Due DiligenceParticipate in the due diligence process, including reviewing financial statements, conducting management interviews, and assessing business risks.Collaborate with external advisors and consultants to gather and analyze relevant information.Portfolio ManagementMonitor the performance of existing portfolio investments, including financial performance, compliance with covenants, and market developments.Prepare regular portfolio reports and updates for senior management and investors.Deal ExecutionSupport the execution of transactions, including drafting term sheets, negotiating deal terms, and coordinating with Legal and Compliance.Assist in the structuring of complex financing solutions tailored to the needs of portfolio companies.Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain relationships with industry contacts, including investment banks, advisors, and portfolio company management teams.Attend industry conferences and networking events to enhance market knowledge and expand the firm's network.Summer Internship Program at Point72 In addition to the learning and development you’ll receive in your day-to-day role with your team, as a part of our summer internship program you will:Work alongside your fellow interns and be mentored by experienced professionalsMeet your peers through designated intern programming, volunteer opportunities, and social eventsAttend sessions with senior leaders discussing their expertise and career pathsGain exposure to groups and functions with unique responsibilities and perspectives on our industryDevelop technical, writing, and presentation skillsParticipate in networking opportunities across the firmCommitment to the highest ethical standardsWhat's Required Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree (Fall 2026 or Spring 2027) in finance, economics, business, accounting, or a related fieldStrong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with accounting and financial modelingExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and conciselyDetail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentHigh level of integrity and professionalismAbout Point72 Point72 is a leading global alternative investment firm led by Steven A. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
