What you will do:Update and maintain project files to include project setup forms, billing requests, customer invoices and other relevant documentation.Submit and monitor status of requestEnsure accurate quote and fulfillment data and communication through quality processLead and direct sales promotions to drive and recognize customer service goalsStimulate project sales growth with focus on lighting solutions within the electrical distribution industryDevelop direct rapport with customers to understand issues and internal improvement areas.Update product selection tools and attend training seminars including those related to lighting systems and technologies.Provide back-up support to program leader for product line related to basic technical and application queries including applications.Other duties and/or projects as assignedWhat you will bring:Electrical, lighting Industrial and/or distribution experience preferred but not requiredBachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4-year college or University; or equivalent from four-year college; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience must include at least one of the following: electrical distributor and or vendor representative.Experience in various software applications that are among the most current technologies and products used in the industry. Equivalent combination of education and experience.Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formMust be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and the InternetExcellent verbal and written communication skills, requiredMust pay attention to detail, be flexible and adaptable, be technical, and adaptable to technology. Physical Requirements and Work Environment:Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.Use of PPE as required.Mix of warehouse and office work environmentsLocation: This role is on-site in Honolulu, HI BranchWork hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through FridaySalary Range:This is a non-exempt position and pays between $24.23 - $32.31 per hour. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within Hawaii.
