By joining Woodforest you will become a part of one of the largest employee-owned banks in the countryThe Vendor Management Analyst I is responsible for providing administrative support primarily related to vendor management. This includes routine documentation and clerical tasks, and the preparation, distribution, and storage of electronic and paper business documents and reports. Key Responsibilities:· Supports the onboarding, monitoring, and offboarding of vendor relationships, including evaluation of vendor performance for all aspects of their product, project and/or service delivery.· Collects, compiles, and tracks vendor related data such as invoices and performance metrics; maintains vendor product lists.· Maintains, audits, and updates vendor related files, documents, and internal portal sites.· Serves as a liaison between vendors and Bank business units; coordinating ongoing system and product training; and communicating needs and resolving issues as needed.· Monitors and responds to inquiries from internal parties regarding Vendor Management. Competencies Required· Strong data management skills with proficiency in database software programs and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint), including knowing how to create links, protect sheets, use drop-down menus, and perform v-lookup. · Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.· Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills, with an ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and professionalism.· Ability to follow directions and apply proper policies, procedures, and guidelines.· Working knowledge of bank services, products, policies, and procedures. · Strong attention to detail with high concern for data accuracy.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external parties at all levels.· Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications/Experience· 3-5 years in a Procurement, Vendor Management, or Administrative support role required.· Banking or financial services industry experience preferred. Formal Education & Certification· High School Diploma or equivalent required.· Associate’s degree preferred. Work Status· Full-Time. Supervisory Responsibility· None. Travel· 0% - Negligible amount of travel expected. Working Conditions· Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
