🌟 We're Hiring: Production Equipment Support Supervisor 🌟 We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Production Equipment Support Supervisor to lead our on-site team in Edgewood, NY. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in equipment maintenance and production processes, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards within our facility. 📍 Location: Edgewood, NY ⏰ Work Mode: Work From Office 💼 Role: Production Equipment Support Supervisor What You'll Do: Maintains our parts inventory for all equipment by providing acomplete list of parts to be ordered, including the vendor to be usedand the associated cost for each part Monitor records of preventive maintenance performed on equipmentand ensures that the maintenance occurs according to scheduleddeadlines Keeps informed of all new technology and equipment used by thetechnical support and production operations departments. Fills in and assumes all Management responsibilities in theDepartment Manager's absence Accountable to meet or exceed Cost Per Unit targets on his/her shift(i.e. labor costs, overtime, inventory control etc.) · Monitors andimproves machine efficiency. · Coaches, counsels, motivates, develops,supports, encourages and instructs all Technicians under direct report Verifies all administrative work is filled out accurately, monitoring andfollowing departmental procedures Maintains all records pertaining to department personnel underindividuals report Span of control: approximately 15-20 direct reports, and allproduction equipment used by technical support and productionoperations Position requires daily communication/ updates with seniormanagement on strategic work scheduling issues Monitors daily reports on thruput and equipment downtime givingfeedback to department personnel What We're Looking For: Associate's Degree or Technical/Trade School 5+ years' experience and a proven proficiency in the operation andrepair of production equipment 3 years' minimum supervisory experience in a high-volume productionenvironment, including: conducting performance reviews, leading byexample, encouraging teamwork A proven proficiency in the operation and repair of insertion andbindery equipment, electronic and electric circuit experience isrequired Electrical and electronics repair is a plus Knowledge, understanding and experience of reporting tools Jet/IQ Experienced in Microsoft Office Ready to make an impact? 🚀 Apply now and let's grow together
