Operations / Production Supervisor *2nd Shift* Specialty Metals Manufacturer Location: Chautauqua County Salary: 70k -90k Shift: Second 3PM – 12AM Reports to: Operations Not sure what skills you will need for this opportunity Simply read the full description below to get a complete picture of candidate requirements. Overview Lead second-shift operations for final dimensioning, packaging, and shipping of bar, rod, and wire products. Oversee personnel, production scheduling, purchasing, freight, and loading while maintaining a safe, efficient, and quality-focused environment. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong floor presence and decision-making ability during off-shift operations. Key Responsibilities ● Enforce safety, environmental, and quality standards for all employees/contractors. ● Verify product meets customer specs; determine proper disposition. ● Plan and execute second-shift production to meet delivery and quality goals. ● Maximize yield, control cost, and conduct Root Cause Analysis on process issues. ● Review shift reports; address maintenance or operational problems proactively. ● Train, coach, and evaluate team members; manage performance and attendance. ● Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained in safe working condition.
