If you enjoy working with numbers, solving problems, and being part of a mission-driven team, this may be the perfect opportunity.What You’ll DoAs our Billing and Payroll Specialist (this is an in-office position), you will play a key role in ensuring our billing and payroll operations run smoothly and accurately, supporting caregivers, clients, and leadership.Key responsibilities include:Processing weekly billing for VA, DHHS Medicaid, long-term care insurance, facilities, and private pay clientsReconciling EVV documentation to ensure Medicaid complianceProcessing payroll and assisting employees with pay and PTO-related questionsManaging collections and maintaining accurate account balancesResponding to client and payer billing inquiries with professionalism and careTracking Medicaid and VA authorizations, share of cost (SOC), and payer setupEntering payments, garnishments, and journal entries in QuickBooks and WellSkyCompleting reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and supporting auditsAssisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reportingWho You AreAt least 2 years of experience in billing, payroll, bookkeeping, or accountingBilling and/or accounting experience requiredHealthcare or Medicaid billing experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong billing or accounting foundationProficient in QuickBooks (required)Comfortable using Excel and Word at an intermediate level or higherHighly organized, analytical, and detail-orientedAble to manage deadlines and adapt in a fast-paced environmentA strong communicator who can explain financial information clearlyExperience with healthcare billing systems, EVV, or WellSky is preferred but not requiredAssociate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferredWhy You’ll Love Working HereForbes Certified Great Place to Work (2024 & 2025)Competitive pay based on experienceWeekly payPaid time off and paid holidays401(k) with employer matchHealth, dental, vision, and life insuranceEmployee discount programs through VizientSupportive, mission-driven leadership that values collaboration and inputOccasional remote flexibility after trainingMake a Real DifferenceYour work ensures caregivers are paid accurately, clients are billed correctly, and care continues without interruption for families across Nebraska.If you are ready to grow your career with a company that values purpose, precision, and people, we invite you to apply and join Right at Home Norfolk.
