Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Healthcare Patrols in Fayetteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your presence and professionalism will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while you respond to incidents and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeMon06:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhy Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disturbances.Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to site and Allied Universal protocols.Assist staff, visitors, and/or patients by providing information and support as needed while maintaining a security-related focus.Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services during incidents requiring additional response.Minimum Requirements:An armed guard card or license is required.Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.Loss prevention experience is preferred.Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
