Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and sound judgment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the healthcare environment to help to deter unauthorized access and/or potential threats. Assist with access control and visitor management processes, verifying credentials and directing individuals as needed. Document and report incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols. Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required by site-specific protocols. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and/or potential threats.Minimum Requirements: Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Must be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
