Learn more at .HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACTVarsity Event Administration is looking for great people to join our team for both competitions and summer camps. Looking for a fun and exciting position with a company whose mission is to elevate the student experience and create memorable experiences for young people, then check out the opportunities within Varsity Spirit’s Event Administration department.Varsity Event Administration is accepting applications for the camp manager and first aid positions. These positions support camps, competitions, and special events.WHAT YOU WILL DOGeneral safety and security of all participant and coachesWorking with host site personnel to effectively use the resources provided at each event location while complying with applicable policies and proceduresCompleting an Emergency Action Plan based upon location and available resourcesConfirming that the necessary registration information is completed by all coaches and athletes to safely participate in campsRemaining on site and available 24 hours a day for the entire duration of assigned campsConducting nightly checks of all teams at summer campsAssisting in the prevention of injuries by inspecting facilities and weather conditions to avoid potential hazardsProviding basic first aid assistance as needed when injuries do occurAssist with event management and operationsQUALIFICATIONS Must be over 18 years of age.Able to work independently and as a team, create effective solutions, onsite management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Outstanding organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize various tasksAbility to grasp new technologyMust be CPR/AED and First Aid CertifiedPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.JOIN THE BEST TEAM IN SPORT & SPIRITAt Varsity Brands, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to succeed and every educator wants to make a difference.
