Label Inspector — 2nd Shift Location: North Syracuse, NY Shift / Hours: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM Pay Range: $17.50 – $18.00 per hour About the Role: In this role, you’ll assist experienced press operators with setup, changeovers, cleanup, and material staging — helping ensure smooth production and consistent quality. This is an opportunity to learn the trade and build toward a full Press Operator role. What You’ll Do: Assist with pressroom setup, cleanup, and maintenance of materials and supplies. Support paper staging and preparation for upcoming jobs. Receive and respond to training and feedback from supervisors and press operators. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized pressroom environment. Perform light material handling, including loading/unloading paper and prepping supplies. Work collaboratively with the team to support production schedules and job changeovers. Qualifications: Mechanical aptitude, including basic knowledge of machines, tools, and maintenance. Basic math skills (measurements, logic, ability to follow job specifications). Strong interpersonal skills: able to receive instruction, follow direction, and work well on a team. Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Detail-oriented with good manual dexterity (able to lift 50–60 lbs; able to push/roll 300–800 lbs with a pallet jack). Ability to perform physical tasks: stand for long periods, bend, reach, twist, lift, and carry as needed. Good hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and ability to distinguish colors.   Requirements: Pass pre-employment screening, including drug testing.
