Job Description DescriptionUnder general supervision of the Director of Ophthalmology, performs Ophthalmic care for examination/treatment. In addition to adult patients, comfort with seeing pediatric patients from 12-18 years old is preferable. Provides assistance to General clinic, ensuring steady patient flow through clinic area. May perform other basic or specialized technical vision measurements as requested. Completes all relevant medical documentation as required. New optometrists require period of 30 days in order to orient themselves to techniques and work area.-Good analytical skills necessary for handling ophthalmology patients during the provision of patient services.
