Job Description DescriptionUnder the supervision of an assigned attending Physician, performs diagnostic and therapeutic tasks and renders varied medical services to provide comprehensive patient care within their scope of practice. ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:-Provide medical care for our Inpatient Service on evenings and weekends in the Behavioral Health Department.-Work closely with our psychiatric residents and attendings to provide medical care to our patient population.-Provides medical coverage in CPEP as needed.Qualifications-Bachelors degree is required.-New graduates welcomed.-Current New York State registration as a Physician Assistant.-Current New York State Physician Assistant License.-Current certification issues by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).-Knowledge of basic MS Office Suite required.-Candidate should have an interest in providing primary care to a psychiatric population.Employer DescriptionStrength through Unity and InclusionThe Mount Sinai Health System is committed to fostering an environment where everyone can contribute to excellence. The salary range for the role is $68.5182 - $91.3576 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
