A Tool and Die Maker will support the production of stamping and coining dies for emblematic teams. This position requires CNC and manual machine operation. Responsibilites: Operate the Following equipment EDM wire, Plunge EDM, 3 Axis mills, Heat treat, and surface grinders. Knowledge of lean concepts to support continuous improvement. Participate in daily huddles to review safety, goal setting, and team and company updates. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Requirements: Proficient in using decimals and fractions. Knowledge of the machine coordinate system X, Y, and Z axis. Use and calibration of measuring equipment: Stagers, calipers, and indicators. Tool Grinding: Grind .125" engraving tools required for Emblematic die creation. Operation of the following CNC machine controls: Centroid, Mach Motion, and Fanuc. Downloading programs.Offset use and storing.Part setup.Machine safety, startup, shutdown, and autonomous maintenance. Proficient in the following Microsoft Tools: Excel, and Word. Heat Treat basic operation. Machine safety, startup, shutdown, and autonomous maintenance Surface grinder operation. Machine safety, startup, shutdown, and autonomous maintenanceGrind emblematic dies and trims. Experience & Education: 1 Year experience operating CNC machines.
