This individual will be responsible for generating new business, managing relationships with existing accounts, and ensuring smooth and timely delivery of products to our customers. This position is a commission-based with the potential to earn significant income based on performance.Role & ResponsibilitiesIdentify and pursue new wholesale customers, including restaurants, hotels, grocery stores, and specialty retailers.Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve revenue goals within the assigned territory.Conduct tastings, product demos, and presentations to prospective customers.Serve as the primary point of contact for all accounts within the territory.Develop strong, long-term relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.Monitor order frequency, volume, and feedback to support account retention and growth.Coordinate with delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to all customers.Proactively resolve any delivery or order-related issues as they arise.Step in to deliver product personally when drivers are unavailable, or delivery issues arise.Maintain a regular travel schedule throughout the Philly area to service accountsThis is a field-based position with significant travel throughout the assigned territory. Candidates should expect to spend the majority of their time on the road visiting customers, prospecting new business, and overseeing deliveries.Some early morning or evening hours may be required to align with customer needs and delivery schedules.Occasional weekend work may be necessary for events, tastings, or trade shows.As we continue to expand, there is significant potential for this role to grow into a regional management or senior sales leadership position.This Sales Manager will have the opportunity to shape the growth strategy for the territory and play a critical role in the company's long-term success.RequirementsProven track record in in B2B sales and/or lead generation experience, ideally in the foodservice space within the restaurant, hospitality, or grocery industries.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Exceptional critical thinking skillsSelf-starter with excellent time management and organizational abilities.Positive attitude and strong work ethicCapable of working well under pressure and meeting or exceeding sales goalsAble to perform with minimal supervisionKnowledge of or passion for artisanal bread and bakery products is strongly preferred.Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Ability to lift and carry product (up to 50 lbs.) as needed for deliveries or product demos.What's in it for you?At the H&S Family of Bakeries, we value our team members and make it a priority to offer competitive compensation that encourages longevity with the companyand long-term growth.
