Mailing Machine Helper

The Machine Helper will perform various tasks to prepare equipment, load mail into postal trays, palletize trays, monitor the quality of mail while machines are running, and assist operators with additional tasks as needed. Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour Schedule: Current shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (40 hours/week) Starting next year: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (40 hours/week) Responsibilities: Operate successfully in a fast-paced, high-speed environment Follow standardized work and safe practices Experience in manufacturing is a plus Operate and monitor multiple pieces of equipment during production Communicate with team members and support staff Ensure continuous, high-quality output with minimal waste Perform housekeeping and sanitation duties Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Familiarity with commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines Reports to supervisor/manager Skills & Proficiencies: Knowledge of production procedures Analytical skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a team Physical stamina and strength Capable of handling heavy equipment Ability to work independently Multitasking skills How to Apply: Please submit your resume to be considered for this position.
