We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, hardworking people to join Alcon As a Technician II supporting our manufacturing site, you will be trusted to work with Production Technicians and Electro-Mechanics at Johns Creek, GA. In this role, a typical day will include: Constructs, solve problems, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in the prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks Makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as advised Prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON: High School Diploma or Equivalent The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English MA Assessment is required for internal candidates only before hire if no technical degree or certification has been acquired Work hours: 36 - 48 hours per week (12-hour rotating day shift: 2 days on, 2 days off, and every other weekend). This shift starts at 6:00 am and ends at 6:00 pm.
