Senior Design EngineerWe are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to lead complex mechanical design, advanced 3D CAD modeling, and engineering documentation for custom automated and material-handling systems. This role is ideal for a high-level engineer who thrives on ownership, technical leadership, delivering robust, manufacturable designs that drive operational performance.Key Responsibilities Lead mechanical design projects from concept through productionDevelop innovative design solutions and convert concepts into advanced 3D CAD modelsConduct detailed research on material-handling, automation, and machine design methodsPerform finite element analysis (FEA) to validate structural and mechanical integritySpecify mechanical, pneumatic, and motion-control componentsCreate and approve detailed engineering drawings, assemblies, and BOMsEnsure accuracy and organization of engineering documentation and digital filesMentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teamsCommunicate directly with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholdersManage multiple engineering projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Strong mechanical engineering expertise with deep understanding of strength of materials, structural analysis, and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles5+ years of experience in: Machine design / automation equipment designFixture and tooling design3D parametric modeling (SolidWorks strongly preferred)Mechanical and structural engineeringPneumatic systems, PLC interfaces, and industrial components (preferred) Proven ability to deliver high-quality engineering solutions with minimal oversightExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Benefits Full benefits package including medical, dental, and life insuranceEmployee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) and profit-sharing opportunitiesCompetitive retirement plan with employer 401(k) contributionsGenerous performance-based bonus program Please submit a resume for consideration.
