By connecting with Pivot Group, you position yourself for roles that match your background and aspirations. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations. Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs. Identify, assess, and mitigate EHS risks and hazards across the manufacturing facility. Conduct and coordinate EHS training for all employees. Investigate EHS incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions. Perform regular EHS audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement. Manage emergency preparedness and response plans. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role. In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards. Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs, policies, and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001). Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement effective corrective actions. Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) are highly preferred. Bonus Qualifications Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation. Experience applying Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies to EHS processes. Proficiency with EHS management software platforms and data analytics for trend identification. Demonstrated experience in managing Workers' Compensation claims and return-to-work programs.
