This Senior Director Accounting (Gross-to-Net) is an integral member of the US Accounting leadership team, leading revenue accounting for the Company’s US Pharmaceuticals operations. Based in Bridgewater, NJ, this role is responsible for leading the gross-to-net (GTN) Accounting team, the Commercial Contract Operations team, and the Accounts Receivable & Returns team. Responsibilities: Lead the US GTN accounting team (a team of 4 accountants), which is responsible for the month end financial close for U.S. gross product sales and GTN deductions, including review of account reconciliations and variance analysis. Manage accounting for the following categories of GTN deductions: Medicaid and other government rebates; product sales returns reserves; managed care commercial and Medicare Part D rebates; chargebacks; patient rebates (coupons); trade & distribution fees, and cash discounts / other allowances Partner with Market Access, Commercial and FP&A teams in The development of financial plans and forecasts as it relates to GTN deductions. Review and analysis of the impact of proposed contract strategies and price changes on net pricing, related to commercial, managed care contracts and Medicate Part D contracts. Oversee the commercial contract management team in the performance of contract maintenance operations for commercial and Medicare Part D contracts, including review and approval of rebate claims data and invoices. Manage the commercial rebate team in the processing of formulary validations and exclusions - supervision of 3 team members and an outsourced BPO services team. Oversee maintenance of contract information, updates, and payment detail in Flex – Model N, Manage Wholesaler and Distributor fee-for-service contracts. Maintain data related to contract exclusions. Supervise the resolution and recovery of contract exclusions. Facilitate communication with Market Access, Commercial, and FP&A teams, as well as PBMs, related to exclusions, disputes, and resolutions. Provide oversight of the accounts receivable and returns teams to ensure timely and accurate collection and application of trade A/R cash receipts and returns processing consistent with contract terms and company policy. Maintain a strong controls and compliance environment including the maintenance of the risk control matrix, audit support, and the periodic SOX sub-certification. Identify and lead process improvement initiatives. Lead and/or support special projects, as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required Finance, accounting or a related discipline required Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, with experience in gross-to-net accounting required CPA preferred Ability to develop, maintain and/or evaluate models for calculating and forecasting gross-to-net deductions Experience with Model N/Flex preferred Experience managing BPO service teams or similar outsourced functions Interested candidates must possess high ethical standards, strong verbal and written communication skills, strong technical skills and flexibility in handling changing priorities and tight deadlines Ability to think strategically, work independently and interact with senior leadership #-Hybrid This position may be available in the following location(s): US - Bridgewater, NJ We thank you in advance for your interest in growing and developing with our company.
